Two types of assessments
- A RAS Assessment (Regional Assessment Service) is a home support assessment, provided by local assessors from a Regional Assessment Service, who work out what services can help you to return to or keep the level of independence needed to manage your day to day life.
- An ACAT Assessment (Aged Care Assessment Team) is for a more comprehensive home care package, which includes complex home care, residential care in an aged care home, residential respite care, short-term restorative care, transition care and other services.
